II just got back in this morning from ten days of much needed vacation. I had a great time hanging out with my family and for the most part staying away from the computer. The New Year is almost here and I'm really getting anxious to finish up a few projects. You should see some changes and addition here shortly if it all goes well.

In addition Chris Campbell sent me a Sphere while I was out for the holidays and I've just gotten around to posting it. See you next year!

Dagan Potter sent in a new Sphere for the Gallery this afternoon. I also get to sneak out of work here shortly and see The Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers a week before its release. There are some perks for working on the game it seems.

How time flies! I've added some background information on how and why the Finest Quality image was created in the Gallery section as well as posted a new Sphere and some more work on the plugin code. One of these days all the bugs will have to be gone, I just can't imagine there can be that many left.

I was hoping to get the first set of plugins wrapped up this past week but my time is still being eaten up by work. I've spent a bit of time today working on plugin docs. The release of the first six is getting closer.

I've added a new Sphere to the gallery and am working on the plugins this weekend as well. The fist five should go out for testing this week and maybe if I can get the docs done they will be available the week after. Wish me luck.

I've added a few more artists to the Resource section and am working on some other bits behind the scenes.

I've added a bunch of new artist links in the Resource section as well as reorganize things in there a bit. Over the next few weeks I plan on doing some work around here on several of the sections. In particular the gallery needs some real attention. You may have also noticed that there is a new section in the works that isn't up quite yet called Sphere. I think it will prove to be interesting. Stay tuned.

When you create a web site you think it should be a piece of cake to routinely keep it updated. How wrong that is! Its been over half a year since if pulled any of these pages to be worked on, so the time is long overdue. Most of my time for the past year has been taken up by the game I've been working on here at the office, EA's The Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers for the PS2. Its nearly done and looking awesome. My hope is that I can get back to life in general for a bit and maybe some art and coding as well. I'll keep you posted.

New years has come and gone and it's back to work for me, and there is no shortage of things to be done. We are currently working on a very large project at the office and it will most likely keep us all busy for several months. I do, however, plan on sliding in a bit of time for my plugin code here and there. Maybe just maybe this next month will see some progress in that area. Till then, back to work.

It's almost the New Year and I haven't done a thing up here for a while now. Fortunately, I've been able to take off some time from work for the holidays, kick back, eat well and get some rest. It's been great to spend some time with my family, something I don't often get to do. All to soon I will be heading back home and starting in again on real work.

In the little bit of spare time I have found I've been playing with Brazil and still working on Max plugin development. I would love to get some of the plugins done and released here before too long, but there are still some outstanding issues that I have to resolve. Creating the actual shader code is starting to make some sense, which is nice. The real trick is getting all the UI to work right. There are so many things to be hooked up for everything to work, as you would expect. Thankfully, I've had some good help from a few of the programmers at work. Our team uses Max for development and we also have developed several proprietary plugins for Max. Though I wouldn't say we have it all figured out it certainly helps to have someone else who has had to spend some time with the SDK around to answer questions. Many thanks to Mark and Rodney for all the questions you guys have had to endure.

Happy New Years everyone!

It's been awhile since I've done anything on the site, so this weekend I think I'll give it a bit of attention. In particular I'm working on getting some code finished on some 3DMAX plugins that I've been playing with for the past year or so. If nothing else I hope to get some images up here that show what the plugins are. It would be nice to get some of them polished up enough to post here before to terribly long. If you are interested take a look in the Diversions section under 3DMAX Plugins.

I've also been spending a fair amount of time working with Brazil. Thanks again Scott, Steve, Connie and the rest of the crew.

What's new? Well this week has been a bit busy at work and in the world as well. The events of Tuesday were an awful reminder of what hate and intolerance can produce. It boggles the mind. As a result I have neither had much time nor motivation to work on the site, but I hope that will change here shortly. This weekend my be a good time to get back at it.

Welcome. As you probably noticed this site is just getting off the ground and there is major construction going on. Never mind the dust, just go ahead and look around. Hopefully, barring any serious snags more of the content should be in place over the next few weeks.
